Why do you need to maintain your Sports and Fitness Equipment?

 

Remember, keeping your site users safe is your responsibility under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974’. The British Standard 1892 Part 1:1986 states: “It is important that all physical education apparatus is maintained in a first class, fully safe condition”. Rather than take on this important work yourself, it’s usually more effective and more cost-efficient to outsource regular checks and maintenance to specialist providers, like Universal Services.

Safety aside, servicing and maintaining your sports equipment on a regular basis will also:

  • Make sure the equipment you are using is readily available to your visitors
  • Make sure your equipment is laid out in a way that optimises the available space
  • Keep overall maintenance and repair costs to a minimum

OUR GUARANTEE

With all our products – including our maintenance services – you are covered by our no quibble guarantee should a defect develop within 12 months which can be attributed to faulty workmanship or materials.

We guarantee to rectify the problem at our own expense. An inspection and report sheet will be completed by our service engineers during a visit, and a report will be emailed to you on completion for your records. A quotation will be generated and emailed in respect of any item of equipment considered to be beyond economical repair or requires further work to bring it up to standard.

Order cancellations can be made in writing with no cancellation charge, as long as the goods haven't been dispatched.

Should you wish to cancel a servicing or maintenance appointment, this will incur a cancellation charge of £45.00+VAT per hour for the time allocated to the planned work.
