Field Service Engineer

This position involves visiting new, and existing sports establishments, to install, assemble, service and maintain a complete range of sports products; from indoor climbing frames in schools, to basketball goals and netting in leisure centres.


Although specialised skills are not necessarily required you do need to have substantial basic skills, a great deal of practical ability, common sense and the need to communicate well is essential. As a good deal of our work has to be carried out in the roofs of sports halls and gymnasium you should also be comfortable with working at heights.


All additional training that is required to fulfil the role will be provided by Universal Services internally and externally such as PASMA, IPAF and CSCS. All electrical tools and transport are supplied in order for you to carry out required work.


Our equipment is sold all over the country so therefore long hours, travelling and staying away from home between Monday and Friday is a frequent requirement.


The expected gross wage for a New Service/Installation Engineer is likely to be in excess of £24,000 per annul plus allowances for accommodation and food. If interested in this position please send a copy of your CV to
