  • A Successful First Year For Play Fair

    The two days spent recently at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry for the Play Fair 2008 exhibition was a great success. With over 500 visitors over the 2 days it was a great chance to meet with customers new and old. The demonstration area that we provided for SAFEA proved to be a hit with visitors, with the cricket cage, five a side football goal, netball post and hockey goal in constant use. We are sure this exhibition will grow in future years and look forward exhibiting next year.

    Play-fair is an exciting new exhibition in Coventry on 15-16 July 2008 an we will be on stand C02, we will be showing a range of our football goals, hockey goals, netball posts and other outdoor equipment so why not pop along and see us, please visit Play-fair for more information.

    For the fifth time we will be at Saltex on Windsor racecourse on the 2-4 September 2008, again on stand C05, once again we will be taking a range of football goals, rugby posts, hockey goals and tennis posts, please visit Saltex for more information.

    In October we will be at the NEC in Birmingham for Interbuild 2008 on stand SP10 in Hall 4, this is the first time we have exhibited here and are hoping for a good show, we will be happy to discuss all aspects of our sports hall equipment including basketball goals, cricket nets, division nets, climbing frames, volleyball posts etc. and our technical team will be on hand to answer any questions.   • Universal Services equipment to be used at Olympic Training Venues

    A number of venues where we have installed our equipment have been successful in being selected for the short list of training venues for the 2012 Olympics, these include the basketball and volleyball facilities at the new Colchester Garrision Leisure Centre.

  • Mumbai Cricket Academy

    Universal Services have recently supplied and installed cricket netting into the new cricket academy in Mumbai. The seven lane cricket hall will hopefully be used by some of the highest level players in India.

  • University of The West Indies

    Thursday, 24th January, 2008

    Prior to the Cricket World Cup in 2007 Universal Services installed cricket netting into the University of The West Indies in Barbados, this facility was then used as a training site for teams for the world cup.
