Established in 1978 Universal Services (Sports Equipment) Ltd is a wholly owned, independent, British company. For over 35 years we have been striving to achieve and maintain our aim.

Through clear objectives and careful planning we have maintained steady growth enabling us to continually strengthen our position, the quality of our service and commitment to our clients.

We have carried out installations in virtually every County in England, Wales and Scotland, together with Northern Ireland, Eire, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Far East, with many of our products exported all over the world.

We have manufactured equipment for County Councils, District Councils, Sports Centres, Clubs, Hospitals, Fire and Police Services, Prisons, Ministry of Defence - Army, Navy, RAF, USAF, Universities, Colleges, State and Independent Schools.

Due to our growing reputation we have been contracted to supply and install sports equipment at many high profile venues, including:

  • Speedwell School, Bristol - the first BSF school open in the country
  • The University of West Indies - used as a Cricket World Cup 2007 training facility

Achieved transfer to BSI ISO 9001:2000 in November 2003 and ISO 9001:2008 in December 2009.

Members of SAPCA (The Sports and Play Construction Association) since 2004.

We strongly support, and are actively involved with the development of European Standards through BSI and CEN.
